Watching Valentine's highlight tape, he really reminds me of Vince Wilfork. A massive DT that explodes off of the line and has the pursuit of a DE. This guy is a good one.

What say you?

Is the guy a three technique in our system or does he play space eater? It looks like he has the talent to do both.

He moves well for a tackle in the "nose tackle" category. He also appears to be somewhat more than just an immovable object.

Vince Wilfork may be a stretch at this point, however.

He looks like he will consistently draw double teams.

Yea these comparison threads are getting out of control. Every player we get is compared to a hall of fame player who plays the same position.

As long as he blows up Cam Robinson, I don't care who he looks like.

Cameron Gamble reminds me of a well-tanned Morten Andersen.

TV looks strong at the point and has nice pursuit. The thing brick will work on is his pad level; he tends to stand up and rely on his strength alone. That works in high school, but not in the SEC.

Once he gets those pads down and plays with leverage, and of course gets moffitized, he will be a monster...

Good call. I thought the same thing. Powe was a monster--probably the best performance I 've ever seen by a DT in the Army AA Game.

He does one thing Freak needed to do more often he split double teams penetrating offensive lines. Freak tried to overpower offensive lineman Valentine splits them but that was high school linemen. So we will see. One thing that I think is always key to me what you do in high school you fall back on in college.
