What are some artists you like? I don't want to list an album you've already heard of and make myself look like a clown on the internet

I only make musical suggestions for paper-writing purposes.

Also, electrical music is awful without drugs.

too late

No, but cereally. I enjoy downtempo/instrumental hip hop. Stuff like DJ Shadow, Nightmares on Wax, Boards of Canada. I'm partial to older like late 90's early 2000's sort of stuff. I can't find newer stuff that holds my interest much.

I like some older IDM stuff like Mouse on Mars, Aphex Twin, Autchere.

And hip/hop instrumentals like Pete Rock, Blockhead, DJ Vadim, Oh No, MF Doom's special herbs albums, stuff like that.

I like nu disco stuff too, but I'm a noob with that genre. I like stuff like Metro Area and DFA stuff.

That's about all I got.

I dig this track by Treasure Fingers and The Knocks. I think TF is playing Buku
DYWT

The Knocks have some good stuff as well. May not be exactly what you are looking for, but it's worth the shot
Modern Hearts

Ghosthustler was what Neon Indian was before Alan Palomo met his other band members. It's that 80's disco/synthwave stuff
Ghosthustler-Someone elses ride
Ghosthustler-Only me to trust

Phaseone is kind of low key, but they are slow and a little more chill.
Phaseone-Hunter
Phaseone-Sugar

Dauwd has some good stuff too
Dauwd-Ikopol

Com Truise is really my electro go to, and I think this remix album is tight. Posted it here before
Com Truise-The Remixes

See if those work, and I can drop some more

Oh yea I meant to mention I REALLY like Clams Casino. This is the best electronic song made in 5-6 years: I'm God

So if anybody has got anything that sounds like that (that Phaseone link was kind of similar)

I'm familiar with Four Tet and Wax Tailor. The album "Rounds" by Four Tet is one of my all time faves. The song Hands off that album is one of my favorite electronic songs ever

I'll check out that album you suggested. I haven't listened to that one.

I'll check out Guts. I liked what I heard
