Best baseball glove for a teen?
Posted by rn4j0rr on 2/6/14 at 10:45 am00
Sorry for posting a sorta odd question, but its a REALLY late xmas gift for a family member and I really do not know that much about baseball
I've been looking at
LINK
and
LINK /
What are some brands//types of gloves that will best fit a 16 year old male ? He is a 3rd baseman.
I've been reading some good things about Rawlings.
Thanks in advance!

You really can't go wrong with Rawlings or Wilson. Nokona has good history, but they're pretty heavy and most of the guys I know don't like them.
It may be a bit cliche, but the pros really do seem to prefer Rawlings or Wilson.

Primos are too heavy. Just get him a Rawlings or A2000. Depending on how much you wanna spend either go PP or HOTH.
You don't want it to have a deep pocket so it's easy to find the ball and get it out of his hand. So see who has better infield gloves.

Rawlings makes great gloves. I had a pro preferred, but don't know if you are willing to fork over $300 for a glove. Their heart of the hide series is also solid.

Wilson A2000 is where it's at.

A2000
Best infield glove and has been for years.
The gloves previously mentioned are all good but if you want something unique with good leather check this out.

A2000 is the glove i used in high school, i loved that glove.
Ppl like Nokona bc they break in real quick and feel nice fast. But they break down quickly too and are heavy.
I still have my Rawlings Pro Preferred from HS 6 yrs ago and it's still in good shape. Really, really good glove
