Comparing 09 class to this one.

All the top players on the 09 class have strikingly similar rated counterparts in the 14 class. Example:
Shepard----Harris
Randle----dupre
Ford----LF
Minter----garret
Davenport----valentine
Loston----Adams
Claiborne----Paris
Montgomery----godeaux
Mingo----Clark
Faulk---clap
Dickson----jacory Washington
Those were the stars from that championship 09 class. This class I think is better overall (obviously, can't tell yet). I think we got an upgrade from davenport, Shepard, ford, loston You could argue that Harris and Quinn would fills shepards role wether he was a receiver or QB.
Will Paris be an upgrade from Claiborne? Who knows
Will garret be an upgrade from minter? That's a tough one.
Clap better then Faulk (if he plays OT) tough
Brumfield vs????? I don't know
Voorhies?
One thing is for sure, on paper, this class is at LEAST as good as the 09 class. My gut feeling is it will be a tad better.
Just my opinion. Just closing thoughts. Obviously, it will have to play out.

They really are physically. But ranked wise some are very close.
Montgomery, Faulk, mingo, Claiborne are tough to compare.
Physically the players a in many spots VERY different in technique and size, speed. But ranking wise, many are the same.

Basically. The ones that underachieved I think their counterparts will meet their potential better at their respective positions
Ones that hit their mark, it a tougher call, these guys at their respective positions just have to play up to their capabilities.
Ones that over achieved like Claiborne and Logan are the hardest to predict a successful counterpart for obvious reasons.

Yeah. Ford was just as strong as Trent Richardson, just like Hilliard broke all rushing records and was a 5 star at points on some recruiting services. Just like joe McKnight was hyped just like LF and was a bust. So was Shepard.
