A couple friends and I, all college age, are trying to decide where to go for spring break. We all said PCB or Destin and Pensacola also got thrown in.
Anyone have experience with spring break in Pensacola? I don't know much about it except FloraBama so any suggestions on hotels, things to do, etc. is appreciated.

Oh I know. I've been to Panama but not all of the group is down with going there so we're just throwing out options. Like I said, I don't know much about Pensacola but the reviews say its the new "hot spot".

I know PCB has lots of HS kids from early May-Sept.
Not sure if that would be an issue or not.

It's at least a 35/40 minute car ride from Pensacola beach to florBAMA.

Jesus.
I'm not trying to be mean but reading reviews for Spring Break? Holy hell. Is that how it's done these days?
We bought gas and enough beer to take down a lion pride and hit the road.

when i went to pcb for spring break my senior year of high school in mid april, it was allllll high school and then lsu people. no joke.
most colleges do spring break in march and pretty much no high schoolers are there. if you wanna avoid high school crowd, avoid PCB in mid april.

If you go to Pensacola Beach, there are enough watering holes to keep you from the Bama. Unless that's what you really want to do. Then you may as well stay in OB.

Pensacola Beach is a lot of fun if you dont want to act like a fool. There are some fun beachside bars and it isn't nearly as pretentious as 30A. The beaches are awesome, especially down by the portofino.
