I love that we lose whats his name LC's brother to Florida, then we pick up a Floridian who's better than him.

I didn't realize he would show out like that at an All American game. Guy seems to be the real deal. #7 postseason player in Florida is no joke.

I watched Willis in person and he looked pretty good, but the competition was St Pauls so not sure what to think. But this kid looks like a beast.

I liked him from the beginning. While he does move well for his size, he is a big, wide Nose Guard, space eater and run stuffer. I hope we can teach him how to at least disrupt the pass protection scheme, but I expect him to be 1-technique all the way.

There's nothing wrong with that - if he's great at it, he'll make a lot of money at the next level and we'll have great defenses anchored off him at this level. He needs to get stronger, replace bad weight with good, learn to use his hands better, but he is a great instinctive player, a fighter (and you have to love that from the big guys), with tons of upside.

With the talent we already have, this guy's going to be able to get 1-on-1 with regularity and it's not going to be fair for the opposition.

Once he is really coached, and improves his pad level, he'll really kick arse.

I think this guy is the steal of the class. He's going to transform what this D is able to do. He will demand doubles and open up the lanes for our LBs to fill. Within I year I think this D will return to 2011 form.

Don't sleep on Bane, Mickey Johnson and Quentin Thomas, brah.

The talent we're accumulating is ridiculous.

Based on the film that I have seen from both his all star game and in high school, I can't say that I agree with you.

He gets a ton of penetration and pressure on the QB (e.g. he had 16 sacks his SR year).

I don't think he will have the size advantage he enjoyed in high school, and I assume he will draw double teams in college.

However, I will concede that his performance at the Army game surprised me - and I was already high on the kid. His maturity curve may be steeper than is typical for a high school kid. Certainly if he works on his leverage techniques and his hands he has the tools to be very disruptive.
