I dunno. Maybe he's waiting for that right OL coach to come along and sweep him off his feet!

colleges tend to back off of JUCO recruits who can't make a mid-year enrollment. While I'm not sure about this guy's situation, they're often grade risks.

True, but at 23 - it certainly doesn't hurt us to take it - he doesn't make grades - we're no worse off than we were - it's not like he's taking a spot from somebody else - by the time we know the result, either way, we're on to the next year.

It would only be an issue if we would have to ask somebody to grayshirt or if we hit the 85 limit and would have to process someone.

Having said that - does anybody know the actual, no-kidding count? I believe we're under the 85 with the seniors and other attrition - I thought we could sign 23 or 24 and not even have to lose anyone else before the fall - but I'm not 100% of my count.

Dont want to offer a kid like that, too risky. Need to wait him out and see who else offers

Les Miles just said at the Bash if you don't add better players, don't just add guys.

I think 23 put us at 85, I'm not 100% on that either but it's as close as I can figure. I'm hoping that means we're done with attrition and everyone on board looks like they can contribute, but nothing is certain til summer classes start.

Can't hurt for him to visit.

After this season, we may only have 7 OL heading into next year's recruiting class.

Do we want 4-5 true freshman in our 2-deep in 2015?

I think we'll definitely get some JC OLs in the next class. I'm looking at JC rosters for freshmen tackles and found a kid at Eastern Arizona, they put out a lot of guys each year.

LINK
Keith Henly, from Griffin GA. Has a basketball profile on MaxPreps from when he was in high school. Played a lot for EAC. May be a name to watch for next year.

Yeah, if you believe 247's timeline on him, he's had offers in the last 5 months from FSU, OU, Miami, Auburn, S.Carolina, Ole Miss....
