Man he is well spoken and has a good head on his shoulders. Said he knew he was a Tiger from his JR year of high school. They asked him the difference between signing out of state or staying in state to play ball. Quote, "Getting a scholarship from LSU is not a 4 year scholarship it is for a life time".

Talked about how you could go out of state and play ball but if you don't make it then you are pretty much on your own as far as coming back to Louisiana. I know we have talked about that subject to nausea at times. But there it is, right from the mouth of one of the great Tigers.

But in some of these kids minds they'll never have to come back to the state because they are going to be making millions in the NFL.

I understand when people say it about a high school kid. But this is a grown man who has been to college and played in the NFL. In this case I agree.

Yeah, bc there are so many college grads who played d1 ball who are articulate. Come on guys, let's call it like it is.

Race has nothing to do with it .... Unless these posters are standing up for football players in general which is simply laughable. Watch the nfl and you'd see the truth.

Richard Sherman is from Compton, went to Stanford and just won a SB.

to me, when he opens his mouth, only shite comes out. it has nothing to do with race. it has to do with a person being intelligent enough to be humble and to not try to be the center of the world.

but that's just my opinion

Did it shock you that Drew Brees or Tom Brady were so well spoken?

Brees is a very eloquent speaker and has been told/joked with about politics. I am shocked that he is able to quickly take a tense situation or comment and lessen the tension.

brady gets a pass for banging this chick:

I am shocked when any athlete these days is well spoken. I don't care what race they are.
