Vice President..... Clinton?

This might have already been posted, but hearing all the Hillary comments already, I got to thinking "What could the Dems do that would literally be unbeatable?"
Check This Out
Apparently, its a Constitutional conundrum. While it specifically says Bill couldn't run for President, it doesn't specifically say he couldn't run for Vice President.
Could you imagine? The Clintons running the country together? This is like if Luke would've joined Vader and overthrown the Emperor.

What would happen if something happened to Hillary in that scenario? Could Bill assume the office of president yet again?

Nope. They wouldn't be able to stay together. His dream come true.

If he was Veep, I would think so considering the 22nd Amendment says "No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice". Does not seem to prohibit assumption of the office based on presidential succession.

And by the 12th Amendment, it appears Bill is not ineligible to assume the office, as he wouldn't be elected in that situation.
I'm actually shocked this hasn't been thrown out there, yet.

Sure. Why not? Shelia Jackson Lee could just draft an EO for Hillary to clarify the the 22nd amendment. Since Billy Jeff wouldn't technically be "elected for President," it would depend on what the word "elected" means.
Poor Billy Jeff. Too many Havanas, not enough interns. Who doesn't want to see Clinton roaming the halls of the White House in a bath robe again?

I believe the Constitution says you can serve 10 years max if you're the VP and the president leaves office with 2 years or less left on his term. Then you can be re elected twice. Pretty sure Bill is inelligible to be president again.

Lee Corso would have been a successful President in 1992-2000.

Slick Willy? Again??
Let's hope that Hillary's "baggage" weighs her down to the point of failure come 2016.

I think that is correct.

I forgot about this from the 12th
So not eligible for veep

So not eligible for veep

Yeah recall that we actually do elect the president and vice president on the ballot.

Not specifically, and therin lies the conundrum. Bill is ineligible to be elected President, but election is not listed as the requirements of serving as President. (45 years old, natural born citizen, etc.)
Bill still meets the requirements set forth, just cant run for the office. It would probably go to the SC, and I'd be interested to see how they ruled on it.

Hillary might want to rethink running for president. Bill doesn't exactly place a high value on women in his life.

12th Amendment: President and Vice-President cannot be from the same state (New York). One constitutionally "ineligible" to be President cannot be elected Vice-President.
