Trade rumble: Clippers "itchy" to make a deal and Jared Dudley, with PT harder to come by and logjam at wing spots, is unexpectedly in play

Dudley only just arrived from PHX via J.J. Redick sign-and-trade in summer but hearing now he could be on move before Feb. 20 trade buzzer

Personal view is it's too soon for such changes but Doc Rivers clearly still in search of supporting cast he wants given Hedo/Sasha signings

How is his defense? Would he be worth something like Morrow + Stiemsma?

Not sure where the Clippers need help at, but I'd do a Dudley for Rivers swap.

I wouldn't be against that.

They're trying to win now, I would imagine they'd want veteran help, not a younger player like Rivers. Ryan Hollins is their backup center so they could have interest in Stiemsma and I could definitely see them being interested in Morrow and his shooting.

Dudley's a very good defensive 3. He's just not a good offensive option.

He's regressed a bit on offense this season, but that kind of happens when you go from being one of the only good players on your roster in Phoenix to being behind CP3, Blake Griffin, and a bunch of others in LA.

If they're looking for another sharpshooter to support them, a la Reddick, Hedo, etc., then Morrow-Steamer works for both this season and for their future money, given that Steamer is expiring and Morrow's got a $1m player option.

never really been impressed with Dudley...don't think it makes much sense for us.

...I really wanna see more Morrow and running plays to get him the ball...he's not gonna create his own shot, but he can score very well if we get it to him at his spots.

I wouldn't give up rivers or morrow for him. He's a solid role player though. I'd trade aminu for him.

I think they might be interested in a Steamer/Dudley swap.

Being that we just signed Babbitt to provide minutes at the 3, I think a Dudley/Steimsma deal makes sense for both teams.

Can he still do this all day? Or are his moves still just gay?

ehh. I like his length and athleticism, but not someone I'd be thrilled about.
