Ever since we started having hogs I've been carrying a .22 pistol with me when I bow hunt. Not really worried about it but figure why not. What do yall use? Would like to carry a larger caliber but dont want the extra weight.

Isn't it a thing of beauty? I bet you get some better muzzle velocity from the sealed chamber compared to revolvers.

KR, this would go great with Ivory and Ebony. Pony up!

But what's stupid is that you can conceal something in a larger caliber. Makes zero sense.

I don't go in the woods without my Springfield XD .45 on my side, locked and loaded just in case I come across a hog. Click safety, bang!

Ok, is that during bowhunting season since it extends before and after rifle season, or bowhunting period. If you're bowhunting, you can only have .22lr caliber sidearm, but if youre hog-hunting, no matter the season, you can have any caliber sidearm? Ive read the LDWF site on this a few times and it's somewhat confusing or im illiterate as all get out.

If I'm not hunting, I have the 10mm on my side 100% of the time. It really isn't that heavy loaded down with 15rds, and I got used to it after 3 days of 2-5 miles each day. Hardly notice it
