So i bought a Vizio Smart Tv a few months ago. It picks up my WIFI signal but it is not strong enough for it to actually stream anything. All my other devices phone, laptop etc work fine with the wifi. Anyone have this problem or know what i need to do?

Not close enough to a port.

I have a Panasonic Vierra and everything streams instantly. Is it an internal or external connection? Clarification..did you have to hook an adaptor up to a USB?

run a speed test on your other devices and compare that to the speed test of your smart TV. You really need a minimum of 6 Mbps to stream. Some people will even say min of 10 Mbps.

I have a Vizio smart TV as well, but have no issues with it. So that narrows it down to your internet/router

If this is an option, do it..I don't like to use wireless for anything that requires a demanding bandwidth

I have a network port in my closet that runs to another network port by my home theater. My router is in my closet. I run one of the router ouputs to the wall in the closet, which runs to the wall by the home theater, then I have a LAN switch box that I use to provide internet to my TV, WDTV Live, Stereo, Blueray player, etc.
