Outlast on PS4 free this week for psn+ users

free for ps+ this week, great horror game and just in time for the headset update for ps4 to give you that "oh shite" moment. The last horror game to really impress me was condemned: criminal origins
Anyway, play the game with headphones at night, and if you dont have a good pair of cans, plug in any set of headphones into your ps4 controller (where you at XBONE?!?!) and make it play game audio out through it for a better experience.

I've never played it, but i've heard good things about it. I have a hard time believing it is as scary as some people claim, though.

Use headphones. I played it on PC, I've played maybe 15 mins. Goddamn it's creepy. Being on a TV farther away will help I think.

It doesnt help to turn out all the lights. Especially sucks for me since I have a huge window behind my PC and always feel like something is looking in at me.

What is this headphones patch you guys speak of? Is it a patch for any headphones used, i.e. Turtle Beach, or just the PS brand headphones? And what is the difference between plugging your headset into the USB outlet, rather than the controller??

I did this for Dead Space and nearly threw my controller through my TV. I don't know if I can do the lights off with this one because it seems a whole lot scarier and creepier

It's in an old insane asylum, it's first-person, the music is creepy, just EVERYTHING IS CREEPY!!!
