Man you better count your lucky stars that the Saints happened to draw the biggest choke artist ever, that one time they made the SB

Well Brett Favre threw that game to us. So we might need to thank him.

I'm not a Saints fan but they had an outstanding playoff run, drawing 3 of the best quarterbacks of their day and beating all of them.

Truth. But my post took a shot at both the Saints and Peyton, on SB night on the MSB. Favre just isn't as fun anymore.

the afc was weak that year.

brady's boys got whipped by balti who got whipped by the colts. brady doesn't even win superbowls any more. brees was perfect in the playoffs that year as well.. and also already destroyed the patriots earlier that season.

there wasn't much of a threat in the afc that year besides the colts.. the saints already whipped the patriots and jets that very season and were perfect against the AFC..

it took the seahawks 38 years and the saints 42 to win their first SB

I'm sure it'll take us less time than each of these mediocre organizations

The Panthers have been around since 1995. Say Cam plays 13 more seasons. That puts you at 32 seasons without a Super Bowl.

That's only a 10 year window to win one before the Panthers match the Saints.

This Superbowl is frustrating as a Saints fan.
I have a feeling that Sean Peyton would LOVE to play the Seahawks anywhere but in Seattle.

Doesn't matter. They won, they get homefield. Saints shouldn't have lost games they should have won on the road this year.

But damn.

You are acting like its impossible for a conference to have 1 bad year. What about the NFC in 2006, 10-6 Saints getting the first round bye. Why? Because the NFC was shite that year. Kill yourself for that dumb post.
