Did it effect his legacy?

Sort of. If he had won, he would be hands down the GOAT.

Brady was 30-48 with a TD and no INTs in that game. Sometimes you lose when the other team just flat plays better.

Manning flat stunk for a quarter and a half. By then, it was too damned late.

And if you're talking 2nd go round.......Brady played pretty well then too.

There's a lot of Peyton Manning fans. I get it.

Let me ask this.. If the Broncos had won by 35 points, and Peyton threw for 400 yards and 4 TDs, would you guys be holding firm with all this "it doesn't affect his legacy" bullcrap?

Yeah, right. There would be as many "Manning is the GOAT" threads as there are threads about why this game didn't affect his legacy.

Get real.

Manning started the game 7/8 with the pick. Not hardly
"Stunk". If Knowshon doesn't fumble then the Broncos would have had 3rd and 1 instead of third and seven. If his lineman doesn't leg whip a rusher, the Broncos aren't behind the chains on the possession with the pick six.

How does Moreno fumbling and his lineman legwhipping account for the 10+ other playoff games that he has sucked dick in over the course of his entire career?

Brees just put up over 300 yards with a TD and no picks

AT SEATTLE

on this very same defense.

And if the jackass kicker hadn't missed that FG it could have been a much more interesting end of the game.

Does that make Drew the GOAT?

Brees had his worst game of the season at Seattle until the 4th quarter. Brees and the Saints offense sucked for three quarters of that game. At no point did the Saints ever threaten Seattle. The Saints defense was infinitely greater that the Broncos defense and special teams tonight.

Honestly, it would have had a minimal effect. You can check my post history. I am pretty sure I had multiple posts saying that this game would only have a marginal impact of my impression on Manning - win or lose. It is one of roughly 200 games in his career.

Yeah, Peyton and his team played like shite and they were over matched, but I still have not seen a better QB than Peyton.
