I will be leaving BR after six years here and embarking on the DFW area. Office will be in Richardson but I may be at southlake or grapevine for job site.

Can you guys recommend any specific areas I should live or not live? We would prefer to rent a house or town home/condo witn a small outdoor area for grilling and such.

Can anyone also reccomend a moving company to use that won't destroy my stuff?

TIA

I know there was another thread but I wanted my own advice.

Southlake is a great area and probably has decent prices for the type of place you are looking. Do you havea. Family?

A good work buddy of mine got a nice place in Southlake and has always said great things. One of my clients was right by Southlake Carroll football field and the area is very decent.

You take the gig? Did she get the offer? is going on and why am I hearing of all of this here? Billy Buck not putting you up with him and his basketball team of dependents? What about Willis?

move anywhere north of your perspective job. ALL off the areas along the 121 are nice but the downside is that its a tollway. keep your out of state plates and play dumb if you ever get a bill fro ntts! they'll negotiate. boom, discounted toll!!! works well. i know someone close who is three years running without a bill. also have friends who have paid 1/3. I'm in mckinney fright off f the 121. moving company should be on you, your current location, your $$ and online reviews. i was billed $3000 for a two week storage and move of a 3 bedroom house from san diego. only paid $2k though just know that you get what you pay for with that type of stuff.

I'll have a company paid toll tag so I'm not too worried about that.
