Non profit questions- i.e. benefits, student loans, insurance

My wife works for a non profit in Bossier. She says they hear all kinds of stuff about everything from health insurance to student loan repayment.
I have heard some of this stuff also. Does anyone have specific info about what we can do or apply for just because my wife works for a non profit?

If her job is considered public interest, she would benefit from 10 year tax free loan forgiveness from the feds.

Basically are treated the same as anybody else for tax purposes. Can get deductions for medical insurance that is not provided by the NFP or independent retirement plans.
People accept lower $ work with NFPs because they like the work or feel like they are helping and not because it evens out because of tax breaks.

Does anyone know if this program applies to doctors employed by nonprofit hospitals?
