Anyone else had to deal with back issues? (bulging/herniated discs)

Got in a wreck earlier this month (rear ended, high speed double impact on the interstate) and it messed my back up something fierce. MRI results came back and said I have bulging discs in my neck, upper back, lower back, and possibly middle back.
Severe pain. Meds aren't doing much and I don't like taking them.
Options are therapy, epidural steroid shot, or, if nothing else works, surgery.
What's the best course of action? Which gets the best relief with the fullest recovery?
What am I looking at in the future?

Sucks.
My back issues are minimal.
Most people scoff at chiros, but have you though about it?
Try Sonnier Chiropractic.

Somehow I have never hurt my back, knees or anything else besides short term injuries.

I have a catch in my neck and I feel a little dizzy.
Anyone else remember that old ambulance chasing attorney commercial in BR?

I got a good attorney, still sucks since I'm out of work until they fix my back. Money later doesn't get bills paid now.

Get surgery. Fixes that shite like 99% of the time.

Upper back? That is highly unlikely. Did you see the pics?
Try therapy & anti inflammatories first

What levels are you bulging disc at?
Here's the order:
Treatment, rest and meds first which it sounds like you have already done then MRI and injections if necessary, surgery is always last

Time. NSAIDs. McKenzie therapy which is PT. Heat. Traction. Opiates.
Steroid injection and surgery sounds a little early for that.

I'd rather not have to get surgery, thinking about the epidural w/ physical therapy.
How long am I looking to be out?

Shouldn't your "good attorney" recommend doctors for you? Also, I know how shitty the last year or so has been for you so be careful with the pain pills. Good luck bro!

Nah...it's a running joke I have with the guys that work for me. I tell them if they ever get rear ended while in one of my vehicles to shite and piss all over the seat and to get out rolling on the ground no matter if it's a small bump or hard hit.
ETA: I also tell them if they ever fall off of a ladder they are fired before they hit the ground.

I've got one of the best back Dr's in BR.
Honestly I don't see how people get hooked on these pills. The side effects are awful and I don't feel high in the least
