We lost 1 in 1961, let's claim that one. Hell, let's claim 1969 because we got screwed out of the Cotton Bowl. And we can claim 1959 because we only lost by 1 to Tennessee. BACK TO BACK!!!!

Don't forget 1908, and a couple from the 30's. and can't forget 1959 and 2011. Didn't we get ranked #1 by a poll Bama has claimed solely?

We went for 2 and the win at the end of the game and got "stuffed". Old timers insist that Cannon got across the line. Way before my time, so I can't speak for "hidden ball trick" outside of baseball.

I just thought I remember reading about a hidden ball trick, in Peter Finney's book. Like hid the ball inside the jersey or something. Pretty sure a play that has long since been illegal.

If you haven't paid attention to history, Auburn is ALWAYS trying to play catch up to their in state rival in everything.
