I need to plan a happy hour for a client in the CBD area. We are going to have around 10 people, and want to have drinks and appetizers.

Are there any good places for this around the CBD? I want it to be at a place that's a little nicer than Lucy's or something

Domenica and Luke are going to be the main suggestions in this thread.

Most Besh places have very good happy hours.

Yep. I was going to add Borgne.

Bellocq is good as well. Ste Marie's food is supposedly better. I don't know much about their happy hour.

What could be nicer than Lucy's?

Besh's places are all fantastic for HH.

I second Fun Bunch's recommendations.

ETA: I'll admit I was underwhelmed by Borgne, however

Domenica, hands down, has the best professional happy hour in the city.

If the client is old new orleans, Dickie Brennan's steakhouse has a good bar menu around happy hour.
