Truly. There will be a special room in Hell for Studio Execs who push these remakes.

That stuff pisses me off too. There should be a rule about kids toys associated with movies. They have to be PG-13 if not PG. Just my 2 cents.

Which is a slightly different topic that may deserve its own thread but, is PG-13 killing a whole genre of movies? Just think at all of the action movies of the late 70's through the early 90's that were R but would CLEARLY be a PG-13 today.

Terminator 1&2
Most of Arnold and Sly's stuff
Alien and Aliens
Lethal Weapons
Die Hards

I get why they do it, to broaden the audience and make more money...but I miss movies made for adults that fit into this genre.

Can't believe I was so young when I watched that. I would never let my kids watch that.

Didn't realize how many cliche's were in that movie either.

The only thing that has me thinking this won't entirely suck is the cast.

The 80's when a movie set in a futuristic Detroit is shot in Dallas. Everything big that happened in the 80's could have been done in Dallas. The 80's made Dallas.

Great trailer and movie. they show all of the RoboCops on the Encore Action channel with regularity. always watch the original.

This is fun to look at

This was no joke my favorite movie to watch as a little kid. And its hilarious watching now how bad it was i didnt even catch most of the stuff that made it bad (cocaine and inuendo) because i was a kid so its funny seeing it now

Whats weird is my mom had no problem letting me watch that as a 7-10 year old but didnt watch me to watch 8 Mile as a 12 year old
