Ended up with a Blackbuck

Well guys, I hunted a nice Axis in full velvet for the past 3 days in Kerrville Texas. I spotted him Monday when I arrived and fell in love with the velvet antlers. I let 2 axis with huge non velvet racks walk and several whitail trophies in hopes of the Velvet Axis. Well, 3 days of freezing, sitting, walking, and stalking and I never seen him again. So yesterday I smoked down this Blackbuck. I was pumped!!! I'm going to have to go back and chasedown another axis, damn thing got my blood pumping!!!

your hunting not too far from my lease out there. we see blackbucks all the time between hondo and tarpley but they behind a fence.
