Current Playoff Standings:

1 Oklahoma City 37 10 .787
2 San Antonio 33 13 .717
3 Portland 33 13 .717
4 LA Clippers 33 15 .688
5 Houston 31 17 .646
6 Phoenix 27 18 .600
7 Golden State 27 19 .587
8 Dallas 26 21 .553

And that's not even taking into account a Memphis team that is a half game out out the 8 seed and flat out destroying teams now that Gasol is back. If the Grizz get in and knock one of Phoenix, GS, or Dallas out, the Playoffs just become that much more ridiculous.

As out of his mind KD & the Thunder are playing right now even without Westbrook, they have a War on their hands come late April.

and on the flip side, the 8th seed in the east is 7 games below 500. you have two teams that have 15 wins and are in playoff contention

Memphis is going to scare the hell out of the top seeds this year (again).

Memphis' style works way better in the playoffs than regular season.

until they face a team that forces them to score... yes, against the lob cities of the world (and houston this year) they're solid... but force them to string together good offensive possessions, and it's game over.

Not to mention that they're just now rolling back into contender shape with Gasol back. If that team's healthy, they can absolutely make a run at anyone in the Conference come Playoff time.

Your kidding right?

Memphis beat the Clippers 4-2 last year and should've beaten them 2 years ago. They just choked on their home floor.

You think Dwight is looking forward to a long series battling Zebo and Gasol? You think Dwights gonna hit his FTs when it counts? Series could go either way.

Hey... They had enough offense against both OKC and the Clippers last year.

They got a proven 3 point playoff shooter in Miller for a run this year.

If they get in, they are gonna be hell for whoever they face.

The semi-final round OKC vs Memphis in 2011 was probably the best NBA playoff series in recent history.

You talk about some neck and neck, intense basketball.

Eh I'd probably say Bulls-Celtics 09 is still the best.

That was an awesome series too.

This year, I think you still have to put OKC above Memphis ASSUMING Westbrook is playing.

If he's not, you'll have the 2013 beat down all over again.

Courtney Lee would have to go all MJ for the Grizz to win the West.

If it's a completely health OKC and Spurs, I still give them the nod over Memphis.

Everyone else? My money would be on Memphis.

If OKC can't make it to the Finals, I would love to see the Grizz get a crack at the Heat. Assuming of course the Heat can get past a damn strong Pacers team.

I think Courtney Lee has helped as much as Gasol.

To be fair, the Rockets did not have Asik for those 2 losses to Memphis. Or Greg Smith. They were lacking size down low at times.

I don't think Asik will be playing any time soon. Houston is acting really stupid about that situation.
