Hunted in them trees this year. They are all underwater and probably will be for many more months since they opened up the levees to the river. Hope they survive.

Great story. I planted some trees for The Nature Conservancy down near Lake Martin. TNC buys land to conserve at opportune time, when the Feds are too slow, then sells some of it to FWS for use as Refuges. TNC originated Lac Ophelia NWR, Bayou Cocodrie NWR and several others.
