Are Obama and GW Bush the two worst presidents in US history?

Not going to argue definitively, but these two men have arguably done more bad to this country in back to back presidencies than any other. There's at least an argument to be made IMO.

I will only go back through the 20th Century:
Woody Wilson and Barack Obama.
Both demonstrate the dangers of Ideological leaders.
Most Presidents governed pragmatically.

Nah.
Bush is bottom 15, Obama is bottom 5. I could listen to an argument that they are the worst back-to-back presidents.

Where was America in 2000?
Where will it be in 2016 ?

Pretty much this although it's hard to judge Obama since he has a ways to go on his 2nd term. But right now just judging the long term impact of Obamacare, it's not looking good, never mind the ongoing scandals and immense power grab.

Warren Harding also says hello.

Harding and Grant were held in pretty low regard, no?

These guys are not the two worst presidents in US history.
However, they may be the worst back to back presidents we have had.
And since they were both two term presidents, I think you would be hard pressed to find 16 years of worse presidency in a row.
Think about that. We will have had incompetents in the white house for 16 years straight after BO leaves in 2016.

Can you imagine if we elect Hillary in 2016. It will be the Trifecta of demise.

I guess the OP is more recent histore' of the US.
Lots of the older fowlkes really hate LBJ, he pushed through the not-so great society programs of welfare.
Also a lot them blame him for getting the US militarily involved in the cluster of Viet Nam. Many blame him for the deaths & maiming of their sons & freinds that served over their.
GWBs first term, I give him a B- only because the way he handled the after-math of the 9-11 attacks.
But yeah, I agree with the OPs premise on obama, he will go down as one the worst ever presidents of the US.
But the left still holds him awe because he is a 'historical' president because he is the first 'black' president of the US.
They will build statues of him, the histore' books will tell futures generations of how 'brave & courageous' he was as the first 'African-American' president...blah-blah-blah...
His dismal record will not mean anything to them.
