Yes. There's teacher planning days they can cancel to have school, early dismissal days turn into regular dismissal. Colleges have tools such as blackboard where teachers can post the information and have discussion.

LSU makes up days constantly for hurricane-related closures. So will OLOL College, Southern, and everyone else. Will students show up is irrelevant; the days will be made up.
