Impact of Cam Cameron turning down the Browns OC gig, staying as LSU OC

Recruiters from other schools most likely told LSU offensive recruits that Cameron would be gone after receiving his first NFL OC offer. Now that we know this is not the case, will we see a offensive recruit that was previously on the fence, change his mind?
Sorry if germans. Whatever the germans thing actually means.

Germans is what people say when a topic has already been posted before.

It may impact Dupre's decision along with anyone else we're after on offense.

CC staying can't hurt! Any particular recruits you have in mind? Too bad he didn't turn down the job before some offensive recruits we were going after already enrolled at other schools.

I know it's what people say when it has been posted before, but I don't understand why the word Germans was picked to convey that

That's also Germans.

It's a non sequitur related to a quote from the movie Animal House.
…I know, right?...

He is building a home in Baton Rouge. Not going anywhere.

Yep. The thing that adds to him turning down the NFL job is the quote from a conversation saying he's going to be at LSU for a long time.

LSU gets an awful lot of young bound NFL talent. Cameron is having fun with a team like this right now. I don't think he will be at LSU for a long time, but expect him to hang for a lil while.

Personally, it is just a great hire for LSU. The news couldn't come at a better time.

He said he didn't want to uproot his kids. They seem to be settling in Baton Rouge nicely.

Very huge
Cam was one of the big reasons Fournette committed to LSU

All right, I'll throw it out there this one time...
Roughly 3-4 years ago on one of the rival's TB pay boards, a poster was being sarcastic and replied to someone who was re-posting some old news. Instead of replying...
"Yeah, and the Japs just attacked Pearl Harbor!"
He replied...
"Yeah, and the Germans just attacked Pearl Harbor!"
Needles to say, he was laughed at by plenty of posters and the habit of replying with that entire sentence eventually got shortened to just...
"Germans"
As an inside joke whenevr someone was re-posting something or that person is late in getting widely spread recent info.
I might have gotten a couple of details mixed up but I I was there and read it myself. It just became an inside joke in a relatively exclusive (in their minds anyways) environment of those posters on that site and bled over to others.
This post might be deleted later tonight just for the heck of it.

You're giving way too much credit to some random message board poster. It's been around since the late 70's from the scene in Animal House.

Not a whole lot, Ed. Did you get a look at the Coaching Staff? Ciron Black, Jai Eugene, Jordan Corbin...

It actually goes back to nazi propaganda tactics. Towards the tail end of the war when morale was low, the German media would reprint stories that were months old, as long as it made Germany look good.
