They are currently sitting at 13-6 (4-3 in the SEC). They've proven that they are not void of talent and can play and beat anyone on any given day (Kentucky, Butler, Missouri). They've also shown that they can lose to anyone as well (Rhode Island, Tennessee, Alabama). They are the most sporadic LSU basketball team of recent memory. How do you think they'll finish this season?

ETA: Where is the SEC Tournament being held this year? Atlanta? Nashville?

Ouch. What if one of the 7 wins is another upset of Kentucky or Florida? Do you think we must have another big win to get in the tournament?

Fricking Rhode Island and Alabama games...

It's not 2010 bruh. It's embarrassing that game even went into OT.

7-4 or 8-3

Gotta remember, Jones' teams tend to start a little slow and really find their stride and get hot in February/March. This team has shown it can ball. Should be an interesting stretch run.

Atlanta.
The LSU Alumni Org has put together a road trip. The first one they've done for Basketball.
I'll be posting details in a few days, but I know it includes tailgating and a pep rally.

True. I just watched Butler get worked by an average St. John's team the other day.

Splitting those games would help, but I still think 11-7 won't cut it. 12-6 would get us on the bubble and would come down to how bubble teams perform in conference tourneys.

I think if we go 1-2 in those @Arkansas, UF, and UK games we can drop one more outside of those and make the tournament at 21-9 (12-6) especially if we can win one or two in the SECT capping our overall record at something like 23-10

8-3 would be a best case scenario IMO

@uk, @uf and @arky are the 3 games we can 'afford' to drop. everything else is pretty much a must w in regarding our dance hopes
