Overrated Chant during an upset

Just heard the student section on TV, is it just me or does anyone else despise that chant? I love it when we beat Kentucky and I love rubbing it in their smug basketball blue blood faces, I just hate the overrated chant. End of small rant.

Agreed ...the overrated chant is terrible.
Is essence you are saying " we beat you , however, its likely because you are not as good as advertised".

So if a team ranked #1 blows out #2, and the fans chant overrated, how does that work? The overrated chant is not always used in upsets.

chanting overrated makes absolutely no sense to me and I hate when any fanbase chants it.

We need to start chanting underrated as it complements our opponent as being very good but saying we don't get enough recognition.
