Saints GM Mickey Loomis said the Saints will not be paying a portion of either contract

Mike Smith posted a 4-12 record this season after coaching Atlanta to the playoffs in four of the previous five years.
McKay received a four-year extension through 2019, while both Smith and Dimitroff received one-year extensions.
