I like the shrimp salad on the cold bar at Fresh Market.

I've bought some from Calandro's before too.

As for restaurants, Beausoleil does a seafood salad that is mixed with a white remoulade. Very good.

Also Portico does one. They put it over lettuce, but it comes with pita slices and is still the mixed spreadable type.

It had better have the consistency of baby food to compete with the BEST, just sayin'.

Calvin's chicken salad is the best, but Maxwell's Market has a good shrimp salad and a good chicken salad.

I really like Whole Foods Sonoma Chicken salad. It has grapes and pecans in it. Huge chunks of chicken and not overly mayoee.
