Someone shoots a buck, maybe out of a club stand you've hunted a lot, maybe someone you don't care for that much, do you get mad, are you a bit jealous, are you really happy for the guy in a drunk honest moment?

A little bit of both

FWIW, this is one reason why I dislike hunting in clubs with community stands

If it's a good friend brother or dad, nah. If it's some guest that someone brought one time and shot a buck I or the club had been hunting, then frick yes

hell lots of times family doesn't mean shite when it comes to not getting jealous. Sole exception would be father not jealous over son.

this

Problem is, even where I hunt you have your own lease area but everyone around you is seeing the same bucks on camera. When you kill one you get, "I've been seeing him on camera and was hunting him." or "That's the one I missed earlier this season."

I've never been in a lease that wasn't nothing but friends, so no.

When I was younger, I put in a lot of work at my dad's club, specifically in this one area nobody hunted. I used to hunt there 3 or 4 times a week, passed on does and small bucks regularly, and one day some a-hole drove up at 9am and kicked me out of the stand(because I was a guest). Dude shot a 250lb big 8 about an hour later.

I was irate, but was made happy shortly after because my dad beat his arse when he came back to the camp. Should've taken the deer from him.

That was when Money Hill was on the decline and we got out of there after that season was up

Depends if I think they deserve it. Have they hunted hard, put in work, scouted or did they just wait to see where I was hunting then go shoot my deer

Then I'm more pissed than jealous. In fact, its hard to ever be jealous when you have life by the balls like I do /s/
