Who was the guy that walked out on the bar tab...updated OP with Link

I think he was immediately arrested.
He ran up some ridiculous tab, I think it was at a strip club, walked out, drove over to the signing, signed contract then was arrested.
I think this was during the Ditka era maybe or beginning of the Haslett era.

I believe he was a linebacker. His name escapes me at the moment though....

Royal signed a guaranteed $3.085 million contract with the Saints as a free agent after previously attaining All-Pro status with the Carolina Panthers, and was expected to start at strong-side linebacker. He was replaced in the Saints' final exhibition game by backup Keith Mitchell, and was traded to the Colts in exchange for tight end Scott Slutzker. The Saints were short-handed at tight end due to injuries, including a hazing incident injury to Cam Cleeland, which Royal admitted to taking part in, hitting Cleeland in the eye with a sock filled with coins and causing him permanent injuries
