WIth the winter whipping our asses, I'd expect you won't even be able to buy live without a connection until mid March.

My brother has a pond that is ever producing selects for the last 5 years......He hasn't caught shite the last 3 weeks.

Yep. Bad, bad start. Hate that for the industry, and me.

Kaplan
The other half has been there a lot recently. They keep telling him it is going to be great. Maybe that was premature.

Boiled two sacks buddy has ponds charged me 3.75 lb. and they were medium to large. He had nine sacks on Saturday and I believe once the weather stabilizes it will bust open and the price will drop.

It's not gonna bust open until after lent......I'd expect 3.00 dads to be constant until after easter.

Sounds like you need to hit up Cazan seafood and catering.

Or the ponds will just produce the same amount of crawfish in a shorter span...Who the frick knows..... I know the farmers dont because every fricking year it is either too hot, too cold, to much rain, not enough rain. Every excuse in the book to keep prices sky high.

Are any fresh tails showing up in stores? I don't want frozen, and I certainly don't want imported tails to use in an ettouffee.

Glad I don't care about crawfish. Give me shrimp and crabs any day.
