I think this question deserves its own thread:

What's up with all the Peterson love? Of all LSU players, I think he is loved the most by the LSU crowd. If anyone ever says anything bad about him, there is ALWAYS a few people to come to PP7's defense.

He never won a title at LSU. He's been a good CB but not great like many thought. Same for college. He had all the tools. I don't get it.

Because he reps the University in almost everything he does, and is one of the hardest working players to ever come through LSU and in the NFL today.

Trololololol

Arguably the best CB in the world, no big deal though.

He wasn't great in college?

He's also a fantastic ambassador for LSU.

What a troll. Even the national broadcasters claimed he was the greatest cover corners currently playing

Ducks, like Seattle fans, don't know shite about football and get their information from sportscenter and other random dickhead fans

They just see a big crowd and all show up and yell randomly

Whether he had any influence on Kevin Toliver III's LSU commitment is unknown, but he will get a lot of credit if LSU eventually signs him. Same for Rashard Robinson. He opened a Florida to LSU DB pipeline.

He was LSU's best cover corner in recent memory, and we've had some excellent ones. LSU's lack of a title had everything to do with unfortunate QB play.

He's already in the Tier 1 of NFL corners, and he's only 23. I don't know what else you want.

Peterson is a top flight corner. On the same level as Sherman.

If zona can find a QB they will contend for titles with that defense.
