I get that he couldn't just get up and run without it attacking him, but why did he butt heads with it for so long? Do it a few times so he recognizes you're standing your ground, and then get up and slowly leave like he did

I was waiting for a car to drive up to scare the elk off. They all just sat there and watched.

Didn't look like the elk was being that aggressive. He wasn't attacking.

I think the photog wanted that situation. He had a still video cam situated on him the whole time... I think he could have gotten away similar to the ending whenever he wanted.

fricking this. Is everyone trolling this thread? The guy wanted that situation. But remember

If a news journalist, photographer needs your help you should just take pics of them and try to sell those pics. That's what they do to you.
