Why would someone drive to Destin for tuna?

All they're going to do is put you on the boat and bring you back off the coast of LA

Capt Lance with Fish Commander. He and Capt ryan with Reel addiction are top notch.

I will also vouch for Capt Tanner Persac. All legit guys and I've fished with all of them.

Overnight as in on a sport fisher, or overnight as in wake up at 3:00am and ride out to Green Canyon on a center console? If the latter, Mexican Gulf Fishing Company out of Venice does well with that trip.

Find a buddy with a boat big enough to go a few miles out. Save a shitload on costs. Those goons charge like over $3,000 and you may not catch shite.

Save your money, pick a calm day and thank me later.

Cost wise is that on a overnight trip, you have to have TWO captains. So, you really don't know what the hell you are talking about. They do catch fish. Sure some days they don't fill the boat down, but that is why it's called fishing, not catching. Besides that, they are out there way more then any sports fisherman and know were to go on any giving day. They share info too!

To the OP, it all depends on how comfortable you want to be on a overnight trip and if you are hard core fishing person or a laid back person. The charter boats that are center console are for the hard core and hands on to learn if you want to. They will teach you a lot of info if you want to learn.

Eddie Burger out of Venice is very good too!
