And he always plays the same character. What am I missing here? I don't find the dude funny.

He really isn't in much, just had a lot of ads for his last three movies.

The Rock had four times the movies as him in the last two years, for instance.

I will say that I do enjoy his stand up, but in movies he always plays the same person: the wise cracking friend.

I liked some of his original standup and his role in 40 year old virgin, but his act is tired to me now. But props to him for getting paid.
