Down 4 pitchers?

Mainieri says the Tigers will be short handed with 4 pitchers nursing injuries or sickness as spring practice starts.
I counted the number of pitchers on the roster and there were 20. Doesn't sound like to me they will be hurting too bad. Let's just say that some of the walk-ons or lesser known players will get more opportunity to prove themselves.

Russell Reynolds and Nate Fury have to be in that number, which was expected, so it's not nearly as bad as it looks.

Hopefully its not them hurting from trying to pen too soon without proper amount of throwing in weeks before. If so thats all on the player and their playing time will reflect their poor decision.
