I know it has been talked about previously on here but I am really impressed. Where else in this area this area can you chose from rabbit, lamb, dried aged beef, shrimp, fish, pork, and chicken. Not to mention various other seafood and pretty good produce and bakery.

My friends and family love it in Zachary. It's the best option over there.

I agree that it is very nice. Interestingly the prices vary between there and the Gonzales location a few miles up the road on things like meat.

They got rabbit? When are they expected to take the Hi-Nabor spot on Drusilla over?

That is the true "other white meat". Treat it well and an excellent meal is the result

Does have a good selection, was disappointed when looking for a frenched rack of lamb and was offered a whole leg like "what's the difference."

Guess they were trying to be helpful, but damn why not keep some racks frozen if you don't carry them thawed/fresh.

Unfortunately the deal fell through. The rotten vegetable superstore is staying.

Agree, but heard their future is yet to be proven on a longer term and that maybe the Leblanc family's jewel might prove to be over their heads.

Based on the store being open for 2 months?

That place is never not busy and all their other stores seem to be as busy as ever before. Zero clue on the financials, but it seems like a smashing success already. It'll only get better once they put stuff in that strip attached.

Related: any ideas what they are clearing the neighboring corner for?

(Still hoping for an Izzos out here)
