Is it smart to use snow days to do some mid day scouting?

Would be a helluva easy way to find some tracks and trail of movement of some deer vs normal tracks when its hard to know how long ago they are from or what time of days.

You would be surprised how much better you can see in the woods.

I would still hunt like a murf today. You can slip up on them quietly in the snow.

Don't know what kind of snow your are used to hunting in/on but when I walk on what is in my yard it sounds like I'm crinkling celaphane (sp?)

Sounds like you're walking on ice, not snow. That does suck.

I always hunt in snow and ice events just because it is cool as shite to be in the woods at that time....never seen much of any game at all moving in those conditions, though....

Noticed today how much clearer the woods were. With all that white in the ground a deer would stand out like Justin Beiber at a hunting camp.
