Jan 23 (Reuters) - U.S. treasury and law enforcement agencies will soon issue regulations opening banking services to state-sanctioned marijuana businesses even though cannabis remains classified an illegal narcotic under federal law, Attorney General Eric Holder said on Thursday.
Holder said the new rules would address problems faced by newly licensed recreational pot retailers in Colorado, and medical marijuana dispensaries in other states, in operating on a cash-only basis, without access to banking services or credit.

Obama Admin wants pot legalized nationwide, so they will circumvent the law to do so by stating that they are simply supporting state laws with services.
Soon, we will have a poll that says that 50.1% of Americans agree with the legalization of marijuana, so it will be cited as the will of the American people and if you oppose it, you oppose the "law of the land."
Hilarious.

Except if you are a Republican that makes a movie unflattering to the president.

Or if you're involved in the gun business, then your bank can drop you for the legal product you sell, you have no protection.
Another instance of irony in "the most transparent Administration, ever."

Obviously not the Obama admin. I really don't have a huge problem with the legalization of marijuana but either legalize it or enforce the law.

I really really wish we would actually use legislation to decree what is legal and what is not. I can't think of a worse way govern than by the seat of your pants. Senators and representatives from both sides should be outraged but they seem to have no care for doing their job.
