RATM have already had a reunion. This list is stupid.
Pink Floyd also reunited at Live 8. Nick Mason is dead now so it's not possible to have a true reunion.

REM's breakup was sort of perfect. I'd hate for them to sully it. The band ran its course, they parted as friends and elder statesmen. Maybe they could do a few shows again, I wouldn't rule that out, but I like how they seemed to stop the band without all of the acrimony.
Reunions are almost always disappointing. Some times you get Mission of Burma making their best album 20 years after their break up, but usually you get fat Black Francis kicking Kim Deal out of the Pixies again as they pretend to care about new material. Or you can have the shameless, and endless, cash grab of the Eagles reunion tour. I remember saying I wanted a Police reunion, until it happened and I realized I didn't want to see the Police now, I wanted to see them in 1982. Which I can't do.
Sometimes, the moment is over. You have to let it go. But man, there's no reason Sleater-Kinney can't put out another album and do one more tour. Someone cancel Portlandia and get Carrie back in the studio.
