There were strong rumors that stud and ensminger we're both gone. Is that still a possibility?

Possible that TE coach isn't that big a deal and les is waiting until after signing day to move.

FIFY. Probably the rumors were just wishful thinking.

What's the deal with the hate for Ensminger? I mean do we all have a problem with the TE coaching like Stud and the OL? Is it his recruiting (I haven't heard anything negative on that front)? I have heard he is really good at evaluating talent on film and his opinion on that front is highly valued.

Excuse my ignorance if I'm off base

As others have pointed out before, he can still do this as an administrator for LSU. If that's his major selling point, then he doesn't need to be the TE coach to perform it for the staff.

I don't mind Ensminger at all, but I wouldn't mind Juluke being hired to help Frank out in NOLA.

Already paying $1.3 million to coaches not to coach LSU this year, I'd say it's safe to say there won't be anymore changes for this offseason.

Why not let Juluke get some more college seasoning in Ruston so he comes in as a more experienced college coach that can help in both NOLA and in North LA?

will stud's income on the competitive eating circuit defray some of the costs though?

I know he took a paycut last year, I'm assuming he took one again when he moved into his administrative position.

yeah with Kragthorpe's pay cut (down to like 400k iirc), he and Stud combined should be 900k if Kragz kept the same salary in his new gig. of course that's still a lot to be paying out, and especially with Cam due his big raise. hopefully Krag's pay was cut again with the move off the on-field staff.

If we make another move, it likely wont be until after signing day

Especially if its at TE coach which main job is recruiting

1.3M is peanuts when it comes to competing for a NC.
