Pretty sure I just witnessed a high end escort encounter

Late 30's guy waiting at the bar of a very nice restaurant in a medium sized town (where I am sitting also). I didn't much notice him until I began to overhear a conversation he was having right behind me. It was clearly an introductory convo. "How did you find this place, you said you travel a lot" "I found it on yelp, do you live nearby" "I live a good bit outside of town" etc. the hostess comes to seat them and I turn to see a mid-20's skinny, atractive blonde. Not dressed like a hooker, but dressed hot, WAY out of his league.
Inb4CSB, but I was blown away by this. Tinder? Match.com? How does this happen. We are talking medium-sized North LA town. Just all the talk about hookers recently, crazy.
