I think Pixar touching on the expanded universe that takes place years before or after the main entries would be prefect for them.

Honestly, I think Lucas was very selfish with the universe he created. There was much more potential than the limited story with Vader and the Sith to tell. Going into the past and future in this universe is the way to go.

Let Pixar keep doing what they're doing. They make great movies that are (for the most part) based on new ideas. Let them stay creative that way instead of harping on a franchise that's been around for 4 decades.
If Disney wants to do some animated SW movies, cool...but let Pixar keep doing their thing IMO.

I think that would be cool, but has Pixar ever done anything that could be considered somewhat violent? Not that SW is violent, but with the light saber battles and blasters, that seems a bit too PG for the typical Pixar fare.
If they do it, I wouldn't mind them taking a shot at the Clone Wars. I know there was the Cartoon Network series, but a movie to tell it would be nice. That was one of my biggest (among many) gripes with the prequels is that we jump from the building of the clone army to the end of the Clone Wars.
