Late 80s Star Model BM .45 compact. It has been a really good carry pistol and is fairly comfortable in that old sock of a Bianchi IWB holster, I have carried it since I bought it at the old B'ham Pistol Parlor waaaay back when.

I always wanted one of those. The Star was just waaaaaay ahead of it's time. Bet newly made Stars would be MUCH more popular today than they were then.
What's it shoot like? IIRC, the fram is all steel, correct? With a name like "Birmingham Pistol Parlor", the store had better be good!
