How does Wheel of Fortune get away with being so rigged?

Never fails: A contestant obviously knows the answer to the puzzle but keeps spinning the wheel to amass more $$$. The wheel then 'randomly' hits Bankrupt or Lose a Turn before said contestant can solve the puzzle and get paid.
I rarely watch this show but every time I happen to see it this same scenario happens. You can't convince me Pat or someone doesn't have a wheel control device.

I have been saying this for years about Wheel of Fortune and The Price is Right.

Legends of the Hidden Temple was the worst. They fricking asked the kids which route they would take before they went.

The kids that lost the maze mostly were dumb though. They clearly didn't pay attention to shite before they went into it.

Only 32 of the 120 won on that show. Plus the maze took multiple takes due to faulty doors and production mistakes
