linky

I also read in the thread something about preordering from bestbuy and combining with another offer but you have to be a member of something at bestbuy.

Anyone know if this will be a day one digital download?

I'm pretty sure I did the same thing. Thought it took a $10 gift card to get the game to $59.99

I thought the exact same thing. I was about to ask why it was a $70 game.

I like the deal, but I will be downloading this game.

I plan on downloading most games from now on, I am tired of switching discs.

Yep

I missed in your OP the question about Day one. All of the games on the One are day one digital now.

I hope this is a game they figure out how to let you download it early then unlock it when it releases.

Yep. Downloading is definitely the way to go. I'd be surprised if I ever buy another disk.

Yeah, definitely downloading. Nothing worse than not being able to effortlessly use voice commands.

Voice commands alone is worth $10

I own majority of the Xbox One titles out right now and only have 1 disc, which is BF4. The only reason I have the disc version of it is because I originally bought it for 360 when it came out and I upgraded it at Gamestop for $10.

Yeah, I have 4 discs and one download. Kinda the opposite direction I didn't realize that you couldn't install the game and then play without the disk. I know the install is for faster loads and stuff but I don't know why it would install with the idea that you would still need a disk.

This was the original policy of the Xbox One. You still need the disc now.

I wish xbox would have never changed the DRM policy, things would be so amazing.

I completely agree. I still see comments on reddit all the time that show how little a lot of people actually understood the policies. They just saw the angry mob and decided to join in.

I hope this is coming eventually. It is apparently already a feature on Steam.

I know Phil Spencer has already talked about improving download and install times, which is a good start.

Also I was in the Alpha test and this game will not disappoint. Y'all are going to love it. It is so much damn fun and this was with only 2 different game types on 2 maps. It feels like the sort of new IP the FPS genre needs.

If you are someone who sits back and enjoys sniping on big maps in battlefield this game isn't really for you. It is a non-stop adrenaline pumping style of shooter. I am amazed by how balanced they were able to make the game and how easy the parkour stuff is. I feel like majority of what they did in the game was to keep people moving and eliminate the guy who wants to camp in a corner until he gets his kill streak or get rid of the guy off in the distance trying to snipe that never really does anything to help his team.
