Currently in construction next to the Walgreens on the corner of Airline and Highland. There is a sign out front.

They suppose to build one next to the new Leblanc's later this year. Hopefully this one isn't taking it's place.

It would be great to have both. I am sure they could both do very well.

It is for those of us who don't want to drive to Siegen to get a chicken biscuit..

The women at my office who live in the area are really excited about it .

My understanding is that it is. Apparently, they backed out of the agreement that was going to put the location at Germany-Duplessis and Airline and the one being built in the OP is that location.

Few things get this place more revved up than a new chain restaurant. Branded and lovin it.

In all fairness though, if I want a chicken sandwich, there is no place on earth I'm going besides the Chick.

Who in their right mind would even attempt that, and why would they? Is chicken and biscuits really magical?
Truth is, the poster wanting one a mile closer to Jones Creek than the Millerville location explains the attraction. Chains and branding are not only king, but they own the place. It's the whole which came first question, and in this case, the chicken or the biscuit?
BR supports chains like gangbusters because there are so few locally owned independent eateries, and there are so few locally owned independent eateries because the BR people support chins and brands and make it virtual folly to even attempt to put your neck on the line to compete with them in high priced location, advertising, or brand identification without an arse load of financial backing.
There is but one answer to remedy the situation, the same that goes for our political woes as well as the entire landscape of this city.... Choose better, and the city will be better.

BUT, when it comes to chicken and biscuits, there is nothing better. Like you said, it's not magical and with this particular product, it is not an inferior product.
